Terms of Service

Effective April 17, 2026. These terms govern your use of the vanessanash.com website.

1. Website use only

These terms apply to your use of this website. They do not govern clinical services. If you become a client, the therapeutic relationship is covered by separate informed consent and consent-to-treat documents signed through the SimplePractice client portal.

2. No medical advice, no therapist-client relationship

Information on this site is for general educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading the website, sending a message through the contact form, or booking a free consultation does not by itself establish a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after an initial session and signed consent documents.

3. Not for emergencies

This website is not monitored in real time and is not for use in an emergency. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 911. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

4. Eligibility and jurisdiction

Clinical services are provided only to clients physically located in North Carolina, where I am licensed (NC License #C016963). The website is available globally, but booking or contacting the practice does not create an obligation to provide care outside of North Carolina.

5. Third-party tools

This site embeds Cal.com for consultation scheduling and SimplePractice for the client portal and contact form. Your use of those tools is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, and design — is the property of Nash LCSW PLLC unless otherwise credited. You may link to pages on this site and quote short excerpts with attribution. Republishing substantial portions without written permission is not permitted.

7. External links

The site may link to external resources for informational purposes. Those sites are operated by others and are not under my control; linking does not imply endorsement.

8. Limitation of liability

The website is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nash LCSW PLLC disclaims any liability for damages arising from use of or reliance on information provided on the site.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.

10. Governing law and contact
